Cute Cats of Zamami Island

Zamami is an island located off the south western coast of Okinawa, Japan. It's an island living life at a slower pace than the typical hustle and bustle Japan is known for. It also has many adorable cats calling it home! Here are just a few of the cats calling this place home!

This cute lady only had three working legs but was a complete sweetheart

This is probably the friendliest cat on the island. All he wanted was for someone to pet his belly

This guy posed in the window of his owner house and rubbed his face against the window pane when we came in closer to take a picture.

67 images to Pique your interest in the Island of Immortals: Okinawa, Japan

South of the mainland of Japan lies a chain of islands tucked gently within the oceans Embrace. It was once known as the island of immortals, then the RyuKyu Kingdom but now goes by the name of Okinawa. Here are a series of photo's from amateur photographers located in Okinawa. Most of these photo's were taken in places that aren't overrun with tourists so if you are looking for the tourist traps you've come to the wrong place. The goal of this post is to show all of you out there in the interwebs a few glimpses of the island that we all love. If you're from/living in Okinawa please feel free to post your own photo's or blog-link in the comment section!
